Warning: Major Spoilers ahead for Game of Thrones Season 7! Continue reading at your own risk...

Many Game of Thrones fans are still reeling from the sight of the Night King tearing down the wall in the last scene of the season finale, as everyone's worried as to what the villain will do now that he's in Westeros. More importantly, we're all in knots about the fate of Tormund Giantsbane and Beric Dondarrion.

The two characters were on the wall when Viserion tore it down, and we're unsure as to whether or not they survived. Tormund is a favorite among the fans and losing him to the Night King would be devastating.

Kristofer Hivju, who plays Tormund, spoke with THR this week about the wild cliffhanger. According to the actor, "It doesn't look good, does it?"

When asked about his chances of surviving, Hivju shared his honest thoughts about the situation.

"Realistically speaking, if you're on top of an ice wall and it's many hundreds of meters tall ... I was a competitive climber when I was younger, and that fall, I must say, it doesn't look good, man. It really doesn't look good. I saw an Instagram post somewhere of a guy shoveling through the snow and screaming, 'Tormund! Tormund!'"

The interviewer then asked Hivju if he'd be okay with this death for his character.

"If this is my way out ... well, it's the huge cliffhanger of the season. So, in that way, that people might have to wait two years to know whether he's dead or alive? If I was [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss], and I wanted to kill Tormund and Beric off, I wouldn't end the season with the death. I would end it with the cliffhanger. So, I understand that. But I wish he could have whispered something into one of those crows' ears before it happened. But, you know, when the Wall is down, they won't need the Night's Watch or the Free Folk at the Wall anymore. It's a hell of an ending."

As of now, Hivju says he doesn't know whether or not he's going to be in the final season.
