Even though Season 11 has not aired yet, CBS renewed the series for a twelfth season earlier this year. During an interview with Deadline, CBS CEO Leslie Moonves spoke out about hoping that the show continues on for years to come.

"I hope (BBT) goes beyond that," he said about the recent renewal. "In my book, Everybody Loves Raymond left three years too early. You want to leave on top, but you also don't want to leave money on the table."

The Big Bang Theory stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik.

At the beginning of July, Cuoco, 31, uploaded a photo on Instagram to express how excited she was to be appearing at SDCC 2017.

She posted a flashback picture from the gang's first trip to the convention with the caption: "#fbf to our first appearance at comic con 10ish years ago 😋 We had no idea what to expect or what (The Big Bang Theory) would become. We had an incredible experience and I'm thrilled to announce I'll be back this year 🎉 see you all Fri/July21 in HALL H!!!"
