Facebook Is Down: Internet Reacts

Facebook users flooded in to figure out three things: if they were the only ones affected, what the issue was, and when it will be fixed.
Luckily Twitter, which has completely separate servers from Facebook/Instagram, was there to host all the questions, concerns and hilarious takes on the outage.
"Aaaargh both Instagram and Facebook are down!, wrote one woman. "If Twitter has a meltdown and crashes, where do we go???"
Most of the vocal parties were related to Facebook and its joint Messenger application, but some had their own worries.
Many users didn't care about Facebook, and they just wanted their Instagram back.
"Instagram is as unstable as my emotional state right now," wrote one Twitter user.
"People really be on Twitter stressing when Instagram is not working," wrote another anonymous user.
While Instagram users were the minority, there was an even more elite group: the unaffected users.
The Unaffected
Some parties only had momentary outages and others weren't using Facebook anymore, so they were fine.
"It's back! I just woke up, have coffee, and only was 'Facebook-less' for about 10 minutes," wrote one user.
Some even took jabs at Facebook users that were stressing over the outage by sharing some celebratory gifs.
"When you left Facebook for Twitter 3 years ago #facebookdown is the hashtag you've been waiting for," wrote one Twitter fan.
Facing Reality
With all the ongoing problems, many users are having to resort to the thing they wanted to avoid most: reality.
"Because Instagram and Facebook are down, I actually talked to my family," one person jokingly wrote. "They seem like really nice people."
"BREAKING: Facebook and Instagram go down. People chat face to face for first time in a decade. Millennials scrambling," wrote another.
The issues seem to be mostly resolved, so luckily Facebook/Instagram users won't have to stress out for much longer.
