Directed by George Clooney with an original script penned by Joel and Ethan Coen, Suburbicon stars Damon as Gardner Lodge, a man whose quiet, suburban life is turned upside down when he gets involved with the mob.
Living in a peaceful, idyllic suburban community with affordable homes and manicured lawns, Gardner finds it as the perfect place to raise a family. However, the tranquil surface masks a disturbing reality, as Gardner must navigate the town's dark underbelly of betrayal, deceit, and violence. Treading territory between Coen Brothers classics like, Burn After Reading and A Serious Man, this is a tale of flawed people making bad choices.

The trailer finds Gardner take a vicious, yet dorky vengeful side he didn't realize he had in him following his wife's death over an unspecified debt and the mob threatening his son. With Damon's character hitting things with tire irons and blowing up buildings, it's no secret this is an action-packed dramedy bound to raise some eyebrows with its Coen-style writing.
The trailer ends with a hysterical image of Gardner escaping a blast on a village bicycle.
Suburbicon opens in cinemas on October 27.
