Fans who are chomping at the bit while waiting for the next entry in the new Jurassic Park franchise, take solace! Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to wrap up filming this week, according to producer Frank Marshall.

The movie has been in production since February with filming taking place in Hawaii and London over the last few months.

The sequel to the 2015 smash hit is likely to build off of the success, bringing back Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt in a script by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly. Trevorrow won't be directing this go around — he's taking on Star Wars: Episode IX instead — but horror director J.A. Bayona will step in in his place.

The film is said to take a "global" approach to the saga, likely building off of InGen delivering the dino-DNA to paramilitary companies. B.D. Wong is set to reprise his role as the devious Henry Wu, the scientist who helped perfect the dino-cloning process.

After the box office performance of Jurassic World, Frank Marshall cemented his status as one of the most successful movie producers working today. In fact, the only producer who worked on a movie more successful than Jurassic World was his wife, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy.
