Groff, who voices Kristoff, recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly and shared, among other things, that he would soon be at work laying down vocal tracks for the film.

"I think I just got an email yesterday where I'm about to go into the recording studio in a couple of weeks, or maybe a month?" Groff said.

He added, "They're about to really get into the thick of recording it, which I'm excited about. I don't know anything about it yet other than I'm about to start recording my section of it."

Even though he knows nothing about the story since it's reportedly being kept under close watch, Groff said that he's thrilled to return to the series along with the directors, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, and the film's songwriting duo, Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

"I'm just excited that I'm in it [laughs], you know? Excited to be in it and that creative team is also just so amazing, so I'm excited to get back in a room with them and play around.… The four of them are such an awesome team and I really, really love them."

Interestingly, Groff was the original King George in the Broadway smash hit Hamilton and his co-star, and the play's creator and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda collaborated on the musical composition of Disney's other recent major successful Pixar film, Moana.

Frozen 2 is scheduled to be released on Nov. 27, 2019, but you can see the lovable characters in Olaf's Frozen Adventure, which will play before Pixar's Coco starting this fall.
