Will Chucky's Son Return in 'Cult Of Chucky'?

In the upcoming sixth sequel to Child's Play, many of the franchise's most familiar and beloved characters are returning to cope with the destruction the killer doll has had on their lives. Last week, the official Facebook account of the film posted a video with the caption, "Someone has come back to the world of Chucky. Any theories on his return?"
After some internet investigating, Bloody Disgusting hypothesizes that this points to the return of Chucky's son, Glen.
The accompanying video featured a shot of a Good Guy doll as a character reacts with fright upon seeing him. The actor is Adam Hurtig, who has previously appeared in Curse of Chucky. An initial reaction might lead you to believe the character he played will be returning to the franchise, but considering his character was killed by Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), that doesn't seem likely.
While reviewing Hurtig's IMDb page, his role is listed as Glen in Cult of Chucky. Considering IMDb is similar to Wikipedia, in that fans can edit and add bits of information that aren't official, this piece of information could be completely debunked. However, actress Allison Dawn Doiron, who also has red hair, is listed as playing Rachel/Glenda, with Glenda being the name of Chucky and Tiffany's daughter.

For those unfamiliar with the ins and outs of the Child's Play franchise, this is how these credits could tie into the film.
In Seed of Chucky, the spirits of Glen and Glenda left the bodies of the dolls in which they inhabited and took residence in young red-haired children. Cult of Chucky is set years after the events of Seed, which means Glen and Glenda would now be adults.
With the offspring of the villainous dolls being absent from the last film, and with all the other major players from the franchise appearing in the film's trailer, there are few remaining characters that could potentially make a surprising return, with the official Facebook page implying there are surprises in store for fans.

The upcoming Cult of Chucky was written and directed by Don Mancini, who has written every installment in the franchise. It would make sense that he would attempt to connect every corner of the Child's Play franchise to show the impact the killer doll has had on the world.
Cult of Chucky will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Copy October 3.
