Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is easily the most popular action star in Hollywood today. There isn't much of anything that he doesn't do. One thing he makes sure of doing though, is connecting with his fans through social media, while keeping us up to date on his various projects.

His next endeavor, a sequel to the 1995 film Jumanji is just about to start filming in Hawaii. While some are fearing ruined childhoods, others are rather excited to see The Rocks new adventerous-looking character "The Smoldering Dr. Bravestone."

Johnson recently posted a video to his Instagram account of the entire cast being blessed by a Hawaiian Kahu. You can watch the video and read The Rocks meaningful message below:

The actor will share the screen with Kevin Hart (Central Intelligence), Jack Black (Goosebumps), and Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy). The Rock has pleaded in previous interviews, that the film will be a sequel to the beloved original with a new, unique story and not a remake.

While it might be quite a task to live up to Robin Williams, the original star of 1995's Jumanji, it sure sounds like The Rock and the rest of the cast are going to give it the best they've got to honor him.

Jumanji is set to release in theaters on July 28, 2017.
