Kenny Rogers' Georgia Farm Is Up for Auction for $3.5 Million

Country music icon Kenny Rogers has put the lavish Georgia farm he once lived in up for auction, and the 973-acre property is priced at $3.5 million, Top Ten Real Estate Deals reports.

Rogers conceived and designed Beaver Dam Farms after he purchased it in 1983. He lived there until 2003, when he sold it to Las Vegas rodeo businessman and real estate investor Wes Adams. Adams and his family turned the luxurious property into a resort with full accommodations, spa services, and event rentals before Adams' death in 2011.

The extensive property includes a 12,000-square-foot mansion with 20 bedrooms, five guest houses, two gyms, a movie theater, clubhouse, three private lakes, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, an equestrian arena with 44 stalls, and a golf course. The farm also features walking and riding trails, waterfalls, and gardens.

Adams had reportedly been trying to sell the property since 2011, after moving to the West Coast — originally listing the farm for $20 million before dropping the price to $9.5 million. The farm, along with its furnishings, will be auctioned off on July 9 with a starting price of $3.5 million.

Rogers, 77, recently announced that he will retire from music after he completes his The Gambler's Last Deal tour, with plans to spend more time with his wife and 11-year-old twin sons.
