Kailyn Lowry Takes To Twitter To Address Those Critical of Her Appearance
11/08/2017 03:40 pm EST
Lowry recently revealed that her friend Chris Lopez is the father of her third child, even though she has no plans to pursue a romantic relationship with him.
In a stark contrast to anyone tangentially related to the Teen Mom franchise, Lopez apparently wants nothing to do with appearing on the show.
Back in April, In Touch reported that MTV was working hard to bring Lopez into the fold, but they were met with a negative response.
"Most of the [boyfriends and girlfriends of the stars of the show] just want to be on TV, and are excited to get a little fame, so they instantly agree to go on," a source explained In Touch. "This guy has been different. He doesn't want all the headache that comes with being on the show. He doesn't want to get picked apart and give up his privacy."
Although most viewers know that Lowry is quite pregnant, based on a recent tweet, it sounds like not everyone knows the intimate details of her life.
Considering Lowry has admitted she isn't going to engage in a relationship with Lopez, people have been wondering who she might start dating next. Based on a series of recent photos posted to Snapchat, many have assumed that she is now dating DJ Cephas. Lowry, however, claims they are just friends.
"He's a good person with good energy, which is what I want to be around," Lowry said in an interview with The Dirty. "People obviously want to make it more because they love gossip and entertainment."
"Kail and I are just friends," Cephas said, supporting Lowry's message. "We are not dating. I have a lot of respect for her. I think she admires the fact that I find positivity in any circumstance."
He added, "As far as people trying to control how she lives her life really baffles me. Who are they to say what someone else should be doing with their life? Everyone is human."
As far as being human goes, it sounds like some people expect her to maintain a pristine appearance 24 hours a day.
All the criticism coming at Lowry from all angles appears to have taken its toll on her. Another one of Lowry's tweets appears to be more of a plea for help, but considering how vague it is, her followers are left feeling unclear as to who she is targeting. It's possible it's a message to her fans, her critics, or maybe something much more important than either of those.
The message could clearly signify that Lowry might want to take a break from social media, but considering she continued to retweet and even reply to some messages, it doesn't seem like she's leaving social media any time soon.
Being pregnant can be a stressful time for a woman, so it's also possible that Lowry's message wasn't directed at anyone in particular, but merely wishes she had less on her plate.
