The newest park in the Disney empire will bring the brand to the most populous nation in the world. Shanghai Disneyland is due to open in Spring 2016, and the focus of the park is to bring an experience that is "Undeniably Disney, yet distinctly Chinese" to the world.

At the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California last weekend, just steps away from the original Disneyland, a large portion of the showfloor was dedicated to the newest member of the Parks and Resorts family. With concept art, photos, and videos of in-progress construction, this was an unprecedented look inside. While Disney usually keeps their construction shrouded in secret behind literal walls and black curtains, it seems they're entering a new age of transparency. While photos of photos aren't the ideal way to experience such a thing, we none-the-less have a giant gallery of here that takes you inside Shanghai Disneyland, including the centerpiece "Tron" ride at their version of Tomorrowland, the all-Pirates of the Carribean themed Treasure Cove (yes, it's a full land), and even a look inside their version of Downtown Disney.

Take a look inside, and start planning your trip for next year!
