Courtney B. Vance Has Won The Emmy For Outstanding Lead Actor In A Limited Series Or A Movie

Courtney B. Vance has won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie for his role in The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Considering the actor was up against Bryan Cranston from All the Way, Benedict Cumberbatch from The Abominable Bride, Cuba Gooding Jr. from The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, Idris Elba from Luther and Tom Hiddleston from The Night Manager, it was a major win for the actor. This is the actor's first Emmy win and nomination, but he also received a Tony Award for his feature role in in the play Lucky Guy.

During his speech he thanked his wife, saying, "To the woman that rocks my chain!"
