Val Chmerkovskiy wasn't always as stylish as he is now.
The 31-year-old captioned the snap, "We all make mistakes...but no mistake was greater than that of the 15yo me deciding to compose this fashion statement for my 10th grade yearbook picture," alongside hashtags, "it wasn't easy out [there] for a," and "I was cool tho I swear."
The humorous pic shows Chmerkovskiy sporting a black tank top with the word "Pimp" emblazoned across the front. In between the letters "I and "M," there is a bullet hole in the design.
Most noticeably, the brother of Maksim Chmerkovskiy can be seen sporting several accessories such as a choker necklace and a ring on his middle finger.
Chmerkovskiy's fans loved the throwback snap and commended the dancer for his willingness to reveal such a photo.
"We've all got 'those' pictures! I love that you share with no filters...you're pretty awesome," one fan wrote.
"No way haha you came a long way Val!" another user commented.
Since his teenage days, Chmerkovskiy's style has drastically evolved. In 2013, he launched a streetwear brand called VALENTIN and also collaborated with stylist Nicole Volynets Gamer to launch the line VALENTINNICOLE, according to People.
In addition to the fashion line, Chmerkovskiy has put his style on display in a variety of dashing outfits on DWTS. Throughout his stint on the ABC competition show, he has won the coveted Mirrorball twice. He was victorious with partners Rumer Willis and Laurie Hernandez in seasons 20 and 23, respectively.
