According to Variety, actor Leonard Landy has died at the age of 84.
Landy was well-known for his freckled face and big ears, appearing in 21 Our Gang comedy shorts as a Little Rascal from 1938 through 1941.

The series of comedy short films about a group of poor neighborhood children and their adventures began in 1922 as a series of silent short films.
Landy also appeared in the ’50s iteration of the show, which was later syndicated for television and re-titled The Little Rascals. Both series were produced by Hal Roach.

In 1980, the actor appeared in an Our Gang reunion sponsored by The Sons of the Desert. His last appearance was a mini-reunion with eight other Our Gang members in 2014.

There are five surviving members of Our Gang, including infamous actor Robert Blake.

Landy is survived by his wife and two children.
