Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck officially divorced earlier this year, and it was recently revealed that Affleck is dating Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus, a relationship sources say actually began years ago,before Garner and Affleck became estranged in 2015.
According to a source, Garner confronted Shookus years ago after finding out about her relationship with Affleck. Shookus was also reportedly married when the romance began, splitting from ex Kevin Miller in 2014, People reports.

“Lindsay refused to back down or quit the affair,” a source said of Garner’s confrontation.
An insider recently told Us Weekly that “Lindsay said she’d only stop if Ben asked her to.”
An Affleck source told Us that Shookus was not the only reason the couple ended their marriage, saying, “Ben and Jen had a ton of other problems.”

While some sources claim Affleck and Shookus have been in a relationship for years, others claim they have only been dating for a few months. The pair went public with their relationship last week.
Affleck “isn’t relieved that this information is out there,” another source previously told Us Weekly, “but he is very happy with Lindsay and doesn’t want to hide it.”
