Jada Pinkett Smith revealed some interesting information about her past while talking about her relationship with Tupac.
The Girls Trip star confessed she used to be a drug dealer during an appearance on the radio show "Sway in the Morning" on Wednesday.
She recalled her early days and friendship with the late rapper, but didn't explain the full story because she plans on releasing a book on the topic.
"I haven't really told the whole story," she admitted.
"One of the things that is very interesting that I've never really said before is that when I first meet Pac... when we first met... I was a drug dealer," Smith said.
She continued, "I won't get into the details, because I'm going to write a book about it, but that's how we started."
The mother of two said "something very bad" happened to her that made her turn her life around.
Then, she explained, "I was coming out of the life, he was going more into the life."
Smith's relationship with Tupac was in the headlines following the release of the biopic, All Eyez On Me. The 45-year-old was critical of the film's portrayal of their bond, saying, "The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful."
