Will Smith's casting as the Genie in Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin caused a mixed reception from fans. Some are intrigued to see what Smith's musical and comedy chops can bring to the role, but others are worried how he can live up to Robin Williams' original take on the character.

As it turns out, Aladdin won't be the first time Smith has taken on a Disney classic.

Back in the early '90s, Smith, then known as The Fresh Prince, and DJ Jazzy Jeff put their own spin on the Mary Poppins' number "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious."

Not only did they record it, there's a music video for the song, which was presumably made for one of the Wonderful World of Disney specials.

In the retro video (which can be watched below), Smith can be seen dancing in front of a crowd at Disney's Magic Kingdom as he busts out his version of the 1964 classic.

He takes quite a few liberties with the rework, making it filled with lyrics about how some words are long and confusing and incorporating a callback chorus.

He does stick to some of the song's most memorable moments, including the line about the word sounding precocious and saying the word backwards ("docious-ali-expi-listic-fragi-cali-repus").
