Jeremy Meeks' Wife Speaks out on Instagram After Separation Filing

Despite her husband's clear intentions of moving on, Melissa Meeks, the wife of the "Hot Mugshot Guy" Jeremy Meeks, is not holding back on enjoying herself.

On Friday, the mother-of-two uploaded the above quote to Instagram, accompanied by a couple emojis.

It reads, "Better to be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie," and is accompanied by an image of a Gautama Buddha effigy.

This is presumably referring to the unceremonious way Meeks found out about Jeremy's infidelity. She had no idea of the affair until a random social media user sent her the photos of Jeremy kissing Topshop heiress Chloe Green.

"The first I learned of it was when I woke up and checked my phone," Meeks told the Daily Mail. "Some random person I don't know sent a direct message with the photograph of my husband kissing that woman. I went into shock. I felt nauseated. It was like a bomb had gone off and my whole world had been blown apart. I'd never heard of Chloe Green. I thought Jeremy was working."

Despite that bombshell and the resulting separation filing by Jeremy, Meeks is seeming to make the most of her time.

She celebrated a birthday over the weekend, and she spent it out with her mom and sister. She shared a couple of selfies and posed photos from the evening with her Instagram followers.
