Arnold Schwarzenegger Blasts Neo-Nazis in Impassioned Rant

In the wake of the Charlottesville rally last weekend, Arnold Schwarzenegger is sending a message to the neo-Nazis. The former California governor took to Facebook on Thursday to share a video in which he addresses the situation and offers his opinions on what he believes President Donald Trump should have said following the events.

"Let me be just as blunt as possible: Your heroes are losers. You're supporting a lost cause. Believe me, I knew the original Nazis, because you see, I was born in Austria in 1947," the 70-year-old Terminator actor said.

"Growing up, I was surrounded by broken men ... men who came home from a war filled with shrapnel and guilt. Men who were misled into a losing ideology. And I can tell you: that these ghosts you idolize spent the rest of their lives living in shame. And right now, they're resting in hell."

Earlier in the video, Schwarzenegger addressed racism and bigotry.

"There are not two sides to bigotry. There are not two sides to hatred. And if you choose to march with a flag that symbolizes the slaughter of millions of people, there are not two sides," he said.

"The only way to beat the loud, angry voices of hate is to meet them with louder, more reasonable voices. That includes you, President Trump. In fact, as president of this great country, you have a moral responsibility to send an unequivocal message that you won't stand for racism."

The former professional bodybuilder also offered Trump a message he believes that the President should have delivered following the Charlottesville white supremacist rally.

"Let me help you write your speech here a little bit...As president of the United States, and as a Republican, I reject the support of white supremacists. The country that defeated Hitler's armies is no place for Nazi flags. The party of Lincoln won't stand with those who carry the battle flags of the failed Confederacy," he said.
