Just two days shy of Ronnie Wood's 68th birthday, The Rolling Stones guitarist and his wife, Sally Humphreys Wood, have welcomed twin baby girls into the world, according to TODAY.

As reported by the BBC, the couple's publicist released the following statement: "Ronnie & Sally Wood are delighted to announce the birth of their twins Gracie Jane (6 lb) & Alice Rose (5.7 lb). The girls arrived on May 30 at 10:30 p.m. and all are doing brilliantly. The babies are perfect."

The girls are Wood's fifth and sixth children, but his first with Humphreys Wood, whom he wed in 2012 with rocker Rod Stewart as his best man.

Before the birth of his twins, Wood told Hello! magazine in April, "I'm unbelievably lucky and unbelievably blessed. I love all my kids. I love being a dad and to have this happening is just wonderful. I'm a lucky guy ... I'm going to be changing the nappies and all that goes with it. I'm looking forward to all that."

Wood is also the proud grandpa to ten grandchildren!

Stewart, who himself is an older dad, tweeted congratulations to the happy couple and their latest additions!
