Jinger Duggar Reveals She Is Courting Professional Soccer Player Jeremy Vuolo

TLC's Jill and Jessa: Counting On will focus on a new courtship in the next season, as 22-year-old Jinger Duggar is officially courting professional soccer player Jeremy Vuolo, PEOPLE reports.

Duggar explained in a TLC announcement video that she met Vuolo last May when the two had an opportunity to go on a mission trip together.

It was there that she says she "really saw his heart and really admired his character."

After that, Vuolo contacted her dad, Jim-Bob, and asked if the two could get to know each other better.

It is anticipated that their courtship will play a big part in the new season of Counting On when the show returns in the summer.

Vuolo, 27, has been friends with Duggar's sister and brother-in-law, Jessa Duggar Seewald and Ben Seewald, for some time.

He graduated from Syracuse University and after taking some time off to focus on ministry, signed with the San Antonio Scorpions in 2013.
