'Homeland' Star Rupert Friend Elopes With Paralympic Athlete Aimee Mullins!

Homeland's Rubert Friend and former Paralympic athlete Aimee Mullins have tricked everyone!

"Today is the one-month anniversary of being happily married to @AimeeMullins," Friends gushed on Instagram, further adding the hashtag, "ilovemywife."

Mullins, an actress-model who is also a double amputee and former champion sprinter, has since followed her husband's shocking post with several intimate photos from their secret nuptials.

They apparently wed on May 1, which was detailed as a "gorgeous rainy day," by Mullins. Due to the weather, the private ceremony was switched last minute from outdoors in a field to a "magical hobbit-y compost shed." She added, "Our kind of magical day."

With an "#elopement" hashtag, Mullins shared how her gorgeous cap-sleeved ivory gown was made by Olivier Theyskens and was sent "on basically no notice." She paired the stunner that fell just below her knees with white booties and a vintage lacy blusher veil.

And her beautiful wedding bouquet? It was made the night before at her favorite corner flower stand, but "too bad I forgot to bring it with me to the actual wedding," she quipped. "#nerves."

It remains unknown where they went for their "honeymoon hideaway," but it looks tropical! Considering they made friends with this big guy! Whom they named, "Carbonara."

Mullins, a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris, announced their happy engagement news at the brand's Women of Worth awards in December 2014.
