Ashley Monroe and MLB Star Husband John Danks Welcome New Baby

County singer, Ashley Monroe and her husband, John Danks welcomed their first child earlier this week and introduced the sweet newborn to fans and followers on social media.

The singer took to Instagram to share a series of photographs of their new baby boy, including one of her spouse holding his son, while another shows the new family of three looking happier than ever.

Monroe captioned the snaps of Dalton Williams Danks, "Welcome to the world, love of my life."

Monroe and Danks, a Chicago White Sox pitcher, married in 2013 with her best friend, Miranda Lambert playing as Maid of Honor. The couple announced their pregnancy on Christmas Day 2016, with Monroe writing it was the "best present ever."

In March, she announced the gender, sharing on Instagram a snap of her growing baby bump with the caption, "It's a BABY BOY!! A big one I have a feeling."

While Monroe will be able to spend some quality time with her new son, she is also in talks to return to the studio with the Pistol Annies.

In a cover story for Billboard featuring Lambert, the "Vice" singer "promises" a new Pistol Annies record in 2018.
