Miranda Lambert came out in full force to help those in need in her home state of Texas.

The country singer, who is known for her love of animals, set out to Houston, Texas, to join the rescue efforts on Tuesday, Aug. 29. Lambert helped transport dozens of dogs to Oklahoma after Hurricane Harvey destroyed the fourth-most populated city in the country.

Her MuttNation Foundation team arrived in Houston on Monday, while the singer joined the crew the following night.

"My roommates tonight sure are cute! Mama and newborns that were born this morning," the 33-year-old wrote alongside an sweet snap of a black dog and six puppies. "Im calling her Ashley after @ashleymonroemusic who just had a baby herself. @muttnationfoundation rescued 72 dogs today who are being transported to dry safe shelters across the country."

The Texas native, who founded the MuttNation Founation in 2009 with her mom, expressed her gratitude for those supporting and praying for the victims of the hurricane.

"Thanks for yalls support. Stay tuned tomorrow and continue to pray. #muttnationfoundation #hurricaneharvey #texasstrong #elvirathebus #tourbusrescue"

On Wednesday, the "Pink Sunglasses" songstress shared an update with her fans, posting a series of black and white photos of the volunteers on Instagram.

"Update! Thanks to some amazing transportation volunteers...We sent over 70 pups to our shelter in Oklahoma today. Our rigs are now rolling into Houston for another load. Continue to send prayers and donations. @muttnationfoundation #hurricaneharvey #linkinbio," she captioned the photo.
