Kim Kardashian is channeling pop music icon Cher in her latest photo shoot. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star caused controversy earlier this week after appearing as Jackie Kennedy in a separate shoot for Interview magazine, and now she is taking on another legend for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.
The 36-year-old reality star was photographed by Mariano Vivanco, and was shown emulating the “Believe” singer with extra long hair, a shimmering dress, and bold eye makeup.

Kardashian has been outspoken about being a longtime fan of Cher and the two united at the Keep the Promise premiere in April of this year. In an Instagram post at the time, the mother of two wrote: “Cher! Need I say more! My fashion icon and fellow Armenian.”
During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, the wife of rapper Kanye West said of Cher, “She’s always had the sickest style, I’m obsessed with her.”
The publication revealed the cover photo of Kardashian on Instagram along with the caption: “REVEALED: Bazaar’s September Cover Star @kimkardashian. In a stylistic homage to her fashion icon @cher, Kim Kardashian West talks about reconciling the soul of a feminist with the body of a bombshellโฆ and why she doesn’t follow Trump on Twitter.”
While Kardashian’s Harper’s Bazaar cover seemed to get a generally positive response, her photo shoot as Jackie Kennedy didn’t go over quite as well. Read what outraged social media users had to say here.
