In the wake of Nelsan Ellis’ death, many of his True Blood co-stars shared tributes to the late actor, including Anna Paquin.

The actress, who played Sookie Stackhouse in the HBO series, tweeted out a touching thought about Ellis, who played Lafayette Reynolds on the show.

Followers reached out to Paquin with condolences and thoughts on Ellis, who passed away on Saturday at 39.
