There's an 'Office' Character You Had No Idea Existed

The U.S. version of The Office featured one of the the most beloved ensemble casts in TV history, with almost every character having their moment to shine during the show's nine season run.

However, sharp-eyed fans are now noticing a frequent face in the Dunder Mifflin office that most have never noticed before.

Fans, such as Twitter User @CruzxControl, have discovered Luanne, an employee who has no lines, but is present throughout the first three seasons of the show.

Luanne, who is played by an uncredited actress, is one of the background characters in the first few seasons of the show. There are never any direct lines spoken to her, and she disappeared after season 3. However, she pops up in 11 episodes, with an occasional prominent visual presence.

Luann's sudden absence after season 3 episode 11 ("Back From Vacation) is never explained, but it's presumed she was cut from the background cast once the ensemble started to take form. There really wasn't a need for extra bodies once the cast was fleshed out.
