Netflix Releases Eerie Holiday Teaser For 'Ozark'

What if had Netflix made Breaking Bad, and it took place in the mountains?

That concept is essentially what TV fans are preparing themselves for as the streaming service is preparing to release its next original series, Ozark.

The entire first season of the Jason Bateman thriller is set to premiere on July 21, but Netflix has already started the heavy promotion of the series. This includes the release of the 'Holiday Teaser' in time for the 4th Of July.

The video stars by showing off footage of the Byrde family - the focal point of the series. Bateman can be seen alongside Laura Linney, playing with their on-screen kids on the lake. The family is laughing and having fun, but an ominous choir singing 'America The Beautiful' in the background put a damper on the moment.

About halfway through the teaser, things begin to get very interesting.

Creepy images fly up on the screen, and the action immediately picks up. Bateman hides underneath something while sirens go by, a man falls to his death in the middle of a city, Linney is seen scrubbing blood from a floor, and so much more.

Throughout the video, the message 'Discover Your Last Resort' is shown to viewers.

Not only does this teaser send chills running up your spine, but it has everybody boarding the hype-train, and getting ready for Ozark to debut on July 21.
