A Pennsylvania teen mom allegedly punched her baby after getting "very frustrated" with the child for crying "nonstop."
Officials investigating the issue claim that 18-year-old Natalia Cordova fractured the baby's skull. The police were notified on July 13 of an investigation being conducted by the county Children and Youth Department regarding the issue.

On Wednesday, Cordova was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Morning Call.
The 7-month-old baby boy was treated at Lehigh Valley Hospital on July 3 for a skull fracture. The medical staff explained that the infant's injuries were consistent with child abuse.
After the incident, Cordova spoke twice with the Children and Youth Department. She told them on both occasions that the baby fell off the bed.

However, in a third interview with the Bethlehem police, Cordova confessed that she punched the child. The teen claims that her baby had been crying "nonstop" for two hours and that her anger got the best of her in the situation.
"I know that I hit [the baby] out of anger," she said. "I also know that I am extremely sorry for my actions."
Cordova struck her infant child in the back of the head.
After hitting her son, Cordova says that she then "blacked out" and doesn't remember anything.
Cordova told the law enforcement officials that she needed help with her anger management.
The teen was released from jail on $20,000 bail.
Cordova is set to appear in court on August 15.
