RECALL: Perdue Recalls Over 4,500 Pounds of Chicken Nuggets

Perdue Foods LLC has recalled 4,530 pounds of chicken nuggets produced for Applegate Farms after customers reported finding small pieces of plastic inside, Fox 61 reports.
The recall is for 8-oz. boxes of Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Saturday. The boxes have the number "P-2617" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The boxes in question were made on Sept. 28, 2015, and sold in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York, and Texas. They have a Best Before Date of 09/27/2016.
Delish reports that there have been no confirmed injuries or illnesses, but consumers are being urged to throw the product away or return it.
