Bond Girl Karin Dor Dies at 79

Karin Dor, the actress who portrayed villainess Helga Brandt in the 1967 James Bond movie You Only Live Twice, has passed away at the age of 79.
Dor passed away on Monday at a nursing home in Munich. Her son confirmed her death to the Bild newspaper.

The German actress appeared in Alfred Hitchcock's Cuban missile crisis thriller Topaz as well as The Invisible Dr. Mabuse alongside Christopher Lee. The latter was one of more than a dozen flicks she made with her then-husband, Austrian director Harald Reinl, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Dor's most famous role portrayed SPECTRE agent No. 11 working for the Blofeld in the Sean Connery 007 flick, You Only Live Twice.
The late actress was also featured in multiple German films adapted from the Karl Mays novels about the American Wild West. She had key roles in The Treasure of the Silver Lake (1962), Winnetou: The Red Gentleman(1964), Winnetou: The Last Shot (1965) and The Valley of Death (1968).
