'IT' Trailer Reveals a Major Blunder

In the new IT trailer, there is one huge mistake that the producers totally overlooked. However, one eagle-eyed Twitter user caught the blunder and took social media to call out the error.
"At 1:17 in new 'It' trailer, a LEGO model with lime parts is dropped. 2x2 slopes in lime weren't released until 2010. 'It' is set in 1989," Twitter user Nathan Wells wrote.

Most noticeably in the new trailer, there are more clips of Pennywise than fans have previously seen. Judging by this footage, Bill Skarsgård, who portrays the creepy clown, made it a point of emphasis to make the Pennywise character his own.
During an interview withBloody Disgusting, the 26-year-old actor dished on his approach to playing the haunting character.
"I worked really hard to create my own interpretation of the Stephen King character," Skarsgard said. "Tim Curry's performance is understandably iconic, still, but the whole [mini-series], to me, at least, felt like something that might be worth a remake of, or rather, a re-adaptation, is kind of how I want to see the film. It's not a remake of the TV show or the original miniseries, but it's a re-adaptation of Stephen King's book."
As for the child actors starring in the film, they have detailed the first time they saw Pennywise. Many of the stars had different responses but they all expressed how memorable the experience was. Read their reactions here.
The storyline for IT revolves around a group of young kids in Derry, Maine who come face-to-face with their worst fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
The cast includes Skarsgård, Javier Botet, Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chosen Jacobs, Wyatt Oleff, Nicholas Hamilton, Owen Teague and Logan Thompson.
The adapted screenplay was penned by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga, and Gary Dauberman. The producers on the film include Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg and Barbara Muschietti, with Marty P. Ewing, Doug Davison and Jon Silk serving as executive producers.
