More 'Twilight' and 'Hunger Games' Films Possibly on the Way

The Twilight and Hunger Games franchises brought the YA adaptation to the forefront, launching a trend in Hollywood that has still yet to slow down.
Now, it seems as though the shiny vampires and battle-hardened teenagers could be back for more.
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer revealed on Tuesday that his studio may not have seen the last of those box office heavy-hitters.
According to Variety, Feltheimer told Wall Street analysts that Hunger Games and Twilight are very much on the radar.
"There are a lot more stories to be told, and we're ready to tell them when our creators are ready to tell those stories," the CEO said.
While this is optimistic, Feltheimer did insinuate that the franchises were only going to tell new stories if the creators were on board. Stephanie Meyer and Suzanne Collins, who wrote the two book series', would likely have to be involved if any spin-offs or sequels were to move forward.
There was no indication from Feltheimer as to what direction these new films could take the properties, or what stories they'd be aiming to tell.
