Wife of 'Grey's Anatomy' Star Kevin McKidd Files for Divorce After 17 Years of Marriage

It looks like another Grey's Anatomy star is calling it quits in their marriage. After apparently being separated since October, Kevin McKidd's wife, Jane, has officially filed for divorce, TMZ reports.

Jane filed for legal separation shortly before their July 1 wedding anniversary, according to PEOPLE. McKidd has been on Grey's Anatomy as "Dr. Owen Hunt" since 2008, and recently signed on for the show's 13th season.

The two have been married for 17 years and are parents to two children: their son Joseph, 16, and their daughter Iona, 14.

In a joint statement the couple made to PEOPLE, they said the decision was mutual, and the separation is amicable.

"Kevin and Jane have jointly decided to end their marriage. They look forward to continuing to co-parent their children, who have been their top priority, and will to continue to enjoy a close and caring relationship," their rep said.

McKidd and Jane wed in 1999, and Jane is seeking spousal support and joint custody of their children.
