Dennis Quaid's Wife, Kimberly, Files for Divorce Again

Dennis Quaid's wife, Kimberly Quaid, has apparently filed for divorce for the second time.

According to TMZ, Kimberly signed court documents in Los Angeles Tuesday. "After careful consideration, we have decided to end our 12-year marriage. The decision was made amicably and with mutual respect toward one another," the estranged couple explained to TMZ in a joint statement. Quaid added, "We will always remain great friends and devoted partners in raising our children."

The Quaids wed in July 2004 and welcomed now-8-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe, in 2007. At the time, their children were mistakenly given a near-fatal overdose of blood thinner.

Kimberly first filed for divorce in March 2012, however, she and her husband soon reconciled.

Quaid was previously married to actress P.J. Soles from 1978 to 1983, and Meg Ryan from 1991 to 2001. He has a 24-year-old son with Ryan named Jack.
