New 'Teen Mom 2' Trailer Released, Drama On The Way

The trailer for the eighth season of Teen Mom 2 has dropped online and there appears to be more drama than ever going down in the upcoming episodes. MTV released the exciting new footage on Monday night.

On Twitter, the official MTV account shared the trailer with the caption: "MARK YOUR CALENDARS: It's going to be a Mother of a Summer when #TeenMom2 returns Monday, July 17th at 9/8c!"

The new season will see four babies on the way, baby daddy issues, and the addition of another cast member. The show stars Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, and newcomer Briana DeJesus.

Kailyn Lowry, 25, doesn't make much of an appearance in the new trailer. However, the turmoils of her personal life have been playing out in the media in recent weeks. She is currently pregnant with her third child from her third baby daddy, Chris Lopez, and it's likely that the tension with her ex-husband Javi Marroquin will play out in Season 8.

Leah Messer is trying to get her life back in order after a stint in rehab back in 2015. The 25-year-old mother-of-three looks to be in a good place in her life as she is trying to come into her own as a single mom all the while going back to school.

As for Chelsea Houska, she is also expecting her second child during filming for Season 8. The baby is her first with husband Cole DeBoer, and the cameras documented her excitement for the new addition to her adorable family.

Jenelle Evans may be going through the most exciting period in her personal life of any cast member on Season 8. She is seen in precious moments like when she got engaged to David Eason as the MTV cameras were around to capture the surprise proposal.

Briana DeJesus was one of the original four girls on Teen Mom 3. She was featured in the first and only season of the series before it was canceled by MTV.

Much like her fellow castmates, Briana's story picks up in the middle of some serious family drama. She is pregnant with her second child with baby daddy No. 2. The father's name is Luis. While Luis is not seen in the trailer, he is mentioned by Briana during a conversation with her mom.

"He's been cheating on me this whole time," DeJesus says. "So I don't know what I'm gonna do."

The Teen Mom 2 summer premiere airs on MTV at 9/8c on MTv.
