Having worked with him on Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World, leading lady Mary Elizabeth Winstead recently told IFC that she'd like to work with Edgar Wright again, answering "Sure...why not?" when asked about the director's film adaptation of the Marvel hero Ant-Man. While Ant-Man isn't set to hit theaters until November 6, 2015, filmmaker Edgar Wright has had quite a bit of time to come up with a premise, a script and even probably bits and pieces of a cast that he'd like to use. The film has been in development for years, although it frequently took a backseat to more pressing projects on Wright's or Marvel's plates. To their credit, Wright never considered leaving the project and Marvel never seemed to consider another director. "Sure, I can be in Ant-Man. Why not?" she said. "I love him and hopefully we'll work together again." Wright is currently wrapping post-production on At Earth's End, the third installment of the "Three Flavours Cornetto" trilogy that included Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz. Winstead was rumored to be on the shortlist to play Sharon Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, a role that ultimately went to Revenge's Emily VanCamp.
