Captain America: Civil War Projected To Top Avengers Opening Weekend

Captain America: Civil War doesn't have Avengers anywhere in the title, but it probably should, since it packs about as many characters (if not more) into the film.

It's also going to pull off an Avengers-like feat if the numbers from pro.boxoffice.com hold up, surpassing that film's $207,438,708 opening weekend numbers with a projected $213,000,000 of its own.

At this point, it has already rated a better Rotten Tomatoes score (currently at 94% fresh) than the much-loved film as well (at 92%), but we will have to wait and see if that holds up.
