Ronda Rousey Hosting Saturday Night Live In January

NBC announced Tuesday that Olympic gold medalist former UFC champion, Ronda Rousey will be hosting Saturday Night Live on January 23.

The MMA fighter turned actress starred in the blockbuster film Furious 7 over the summer but since her defeat against Holly Holm has remained quiet and out of the media. Saturday Night Live will be one of her first public appearances since the mid-November match.

Maybe there will be a Captain Marvel sketch?

The musical guest will be chart-topping recording artist Selena Gomez, whose latest album, "Revival," has featured hits "Good for You" and "Same Old Love." This will be Gomez's first "SNL" appearance as well.

The week prior to Rousey's Saturday Night Live event, Star Wars: The Force Awakens villain Adam Driver will host on January 16.
