John Cena has been WWE's biggest star for well over a decade. And when you're on top for that long, you have to shake things up every now and then.
From his days wearing throwback jerseys and snapback hats to his Marine-style camouflage to his assortment of rainbow-colored bright neon shirts, the 16-time WWE Champion has changed up his look on numerous occasions, even if they typically involve him wearing jorts.

Cena eventually made his way to OVW, WWE's previous developmental division before NXT came around. This was during the time he was referred to as The Prototype.
It wasn't until rapping on a bus in between shows that Cena would embrace his "Thuganomics" character, and he was frequently seen wearing sports jerseys and baseball caps.
He would eventually win championship gold during this period, and blinged out his newly won belt with a ton of gold and a spinner logo.
Long before his acting career took off, Cena made his official film debut in the 2006 as John Triton in the WWE Studios film The Marine.
Cena is a big fan of Halloween and dressing up, which seems like the best fit for this photo as a goofball doctor, complete with over the top mustache.
This is the look you're probably most accustomed to. Cena often throws his shirt and hat to the audience as he walks down the ramp, opting for only keeping his armbands and wristbands for the actual match. Oh, and of course jorts. You have to have the jorts.
What's not ordinary is seeing Cena rocking a pompadour with blonde highlights. That's what he did though one Halloween while impersonating Vanilla Ice.
A rare behind the scenes picture shows Cena being treated for a head gash after a match. You don't often see Cena bloody these days, so it's a rare throwback.
Cena loves bright colors (as The Rock has always been apt to point out), and on a night he hoisted up championship gold again he rocked a bright yellow shirt that was impossible to miss.
In addition to bright colors, Cena likes to keep the same design and just swich up the color scheme. He liked his previous shirt so much he just wanted it in green.
For Halloween a few years back, Cena and girlfriend Nikki Bella decided to go as the pair from Dumb and Dumber. Needless to say, they nailed it!
In 2016 the two outdid themselves by going as each other for Halloween. Nikki rocked a traditional Cena-style cap, shirt, and shorts combo, while Cena opted for Nikki's fearless gear, which included black shorts, red tanktop, and backward baseball cap.

During Breast Cancer awareness month, the stars of the WWE will often incorporate some pink into their outfits. Cena is no different, sporting a pink baseball cap and gray and pink shirt to the ring with Dean Ambrose.
During his United States Championship run, Cena starting wearing a shirt that said "The Champ Is Here" with an arrow pointing to a replica of the United States belt. It didn't have as much meaning though when he lost it.
In the 2015 comedy Sisters movie starring Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, Cena starred as a drug dealer that Fey's character attempts to seduce.
Cena is sporting multiple tattoos on his chest and neck in the role, though most will remember the part from how hilarious it was rather than his look.
In 2018 Cena returned to his brightly-colored look, opting for neon green as he battled for a match at WrestleMania 34 at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Fastlane pay-per-views.
After weeks of calling him out, Cena wound up fighting The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34. He lost in surprisingly short fashion.
Shortly after his breakup with Nikki Bella in April, Cena was spotted out in public taking photos with fans with a mustache and the start of a beard.0comments
When asked why he had ditched his clean-shaven look, he explained it was a personal challenge.
"I've just been put in a peculiar place recently where I'm challenging myself to do things I've never done before," Cena said in an ESPN interview. "I've never grown facial hair. I had a few days free, but I since shaved it off before I did the Today show. I'm clean shaven and I'll probably go clean shaven from here on out, but I have some projects coming up that might have called for a look like that and I wanted to make sure before we did it that it was possible and it looked OK."
