WWE's Xavier Woods already hosts his own video game show on YouTube called UpUpDownDown, so its no surprise when he makes appearances at gaming conventions like E3 and the like. You also have New Japan Pro Wrestling's Kenny Omega, who is in his second reign as one-third of the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions, who is pretty much a walking video game reference himself (his finishing move name? One Winged Angel).

The two are friends in real life, but nobody expected them to face off at this year's CEO and was part of the Street Fighter V Rumble. The two superstars squared off in a best of five at the fighting game convention.

Omega took an early lead and played fairly well with the character Alex, who isn't the easiest to maneuver, and eventually beat Woods 5-2 in Street Fighter V. However, his victory was short lived as Woods triumphed over Omega in DDR. You can tell how much video games mean to these two by their Twitter sparring over the past few months.

You can watch the entire match below.

Woods even recently spoke to ESPN about how video games shaped his youth and how they helped him overcome his social anxiety and awkwardness.

"Without video games, I don't think I'd be where I am today with anything else in life."

He also mentioned that the ultimate goal of UpUpDownDown is to help kids who were like him. "I always want to make sure that I'm able to put a spotlight on that for kids who might be in the same position and might feel a little awkward or might get made fun of for reading comic books and staying up till 4 in the morning playing Sonic."

Both wrestling superstars entertained the audience at the ballroom Wyndham Orlando Resort and put on a show that I doubt anybody in attendance will forget anytime soon.
