Stephen King fans can rejoice! Filming has officially begun in Orange, Massachusetts for Hulu's upcoming series Castle Rock, The Worcester Telegram reports.

The series, based on a fictional town created by author Stephen King, is referenced in many of his writings over the years. Local businesses have been transformed to better suit the aesthetic of the horror series as the Greenfield Recorder reveals. However, the streaming service's publicists asked that no photos or video be taken of the altered storefronts or actors on set.

Residents of the area were scouted to appear as extras in the show, and sections of the town were cordoned off to allow for filming.

A letter from location manager Kevin Foster to residents stated that "there will be no car chases, explosions or gunfire. Just dead bodies."

Kevin Kennedy, the director of community development and planning for the town, said crews will be in Orange off and on until Jan. 2018.

The 10-episode drama, which will also be filmed atNew England Studios in Devens, has been described as an "ongoing series," Variety reports. The show will be executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer, as well as Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason, who developed the project for television.

The series stars Andre Holland as Henry, a lawyer with a complicated history in the town, and Sissy Spacek as his estranged adoptive mother.

King created the fictional town of Castle Rock, Maine as a setting for many of his works, using the small town to host novels like The Dead Zone and Cujo.
