CMA Awards Week 2014!

Y'all, its one of my favorite weeks of the year – CMA WEEK!! We kick off the festivities tonight with the ASCAP Awards in Nashville. It's a great start to the week because it's relaxed and fun and there are always AH-MAZING performances (I mean, UNREAL performances from some of the most talented songwriters in Nashville – people who are more "behind the scenes" and it's such a special treat to witness their incredible gifts!) Then we'll celebrate the CMA awards on Wednesday with red carpet arrivals beginning at 5PM, followed by the televised showonABC at 8PM ET/7PMCST – I cannot WAIT!

This was from the CMA 2008 Capital Records after-party – I kept it simple with a black cocktail dress and a bold red lip. I added some vintage necklaces from Thea Grant that I absolutely LOVED. (We look like BABIES in this pic! ha)

This was from the CMAs 2011 – I bought this No. 21 dress in London with my mom. We were out shopping in Notting Hill and stumbled upon the coolest boutique and I spotted this gown. I paired it with some uber glam Erickson Beamon jewels. I love that we are all in black & neutral tones (we never intend to "match" but this was a good group effort!)

This was from the CMA awards last year…and it's one of my favorite red carpet looks to date! This GORGEOUS gown is by local Nashville designer Olia Zavozina (she's is fabulous, y'all!) – the gown was originally all the way to the floor, but I asked her to hem the front portion to give it a "high-low" hem and a more modern look. Hayden Panettiere later wore this gown in Southern Living magazine! I paired the dress with some borrowed diamonds from Williams Gallery (I think I was wearing 200 carats of diamonds or something INSANE like that!) and sparkly Jimmy Choo sandals. My husband is looking pretty ridic in Tom Ford, too!
