Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak-Biermann took to Instagram to reflect on one of her "hardest days ever," as her husband, NFL player Kroy Biermann headed to Buffalo to begin his new football season.
The 30-year-old linebacker was traded to the Buffalo Bills after playing multiple seasons for the Atlanta Falcons.
Zolciak-Biermann and their children will be staying in Atlanta throughout football season, which means an emotional few months apart.

The reality star took to Instagram to share some thought on the major changes affecting her family.
"This has been one of the hardest days ever for me," she captioned two pictures of her husband hugging their children. "Kash turning 4 and starting Pre-K, KJ starting kindergarten and my best friend, my everything left this morning to play for @buffalobills."
She shared that though she is excited for the opportunity her husband has, she can't help but be sad that they'll be apart for much of the fall.
"Although Kroy is so excited as I am (my parents grew up there, half my family still lives there) never mind the fact the fans are AWESOME, the team is AWESOME and my hubby is ecstatic ... It was hard to say good bye!" she admitted. "Im so thankful for @briellebiermann taking Kroy so early this morning, @cheftraceybloom coming to the rescue to be here for me, @nikitpressley texts and ALL of you who have welcomed my husband with open arms!
