Family and friends of Christina Grimmie are still coming to terms with the singer's sudden death, and emotional reactions are consistently pouring in from fans.

The 22-year-old singer was shot on Friday night by an unnamed assailant and unfortunately passed away from her injuries. She had just performed earlier that night as an opening act to the band Before You Exit, and was signing autographs and speaking to fans when the shooting happened.

Her fellow musicians expressed their condolences via social media, including ones from her Voice judges Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Adam posted a photo of the two together (she was on his team during season six) and said: "I'm sad, shocked and confused. We love you so much Grimmie. We are all praying hard that you can pull through this...this just isn't fair." He posted it before the news came of her passing.

Shelton posted his reaction to the sad news this morning to his Twitter account, saying: "I'm stunned and disgusted and heartbroken that we lost that sweet little girl... Keeping @TheRealGrimmie family in my heart and mind."

Other celebrities also posted their loving thoughts, including Lucy Hale, Nathan Sykes, Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, and Shawn Mendes, along with some of her fellow contestants like Biff Gore, T.J. Wilkins, and Jake Worthington.

My heart is broken! Sending out prayers for the Grimmie family. RIP @therealgrimmie I Love You Baby Sistah!
