On Tuesday's episode of America's Got Talent, the audience witnessed a shocking moment when one of the stunts went horribly wrong.

Canadian stunt man Ryan Stock posed with a target in his mouth as his fiancé, Amber Lynn Walker, attempted to shoot it with a flaming arrow as part of his quarterfinals act. The scene made a shocking turn for the worst when Walker missed the target, sending the flaming arrow straight into Stock's neck on live television.

The audience screamed in horror as Stock brushed at his neck to put out the flame, removed the target from his mouth, and hunched over in pain. Judges Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell watched as the frightening scene unfolded and were visibly stunned by the terrifying mishap.

Host Nick Cannon rushed onto the stage to check if Stock was okay, to which he replied, "I'm okay, I'm okay." While Stock maintained that he was okay, Mandel still suggested that Stock visit the show's on-hand medical staff.

Stock tweeted about the accident following the live episode: "We had a serious mishap tonight. A very unfortunate mechanical failure but I am very fortunate to walk away from it."

America's Got Talent twitter page response to Stock's scary moment. "You NEVER know what will happen when #AGT is live," the post reads.
