On Sunday, a tragic car accident brought a Missouri family of four's dream vacation to a horrific end. Parents Greg and Sarah Moyers were killed at the scene of the crash and their daughters Hailey (13) and Sophia (8) were taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

The family drove down to Orlando on Thursday and spent a few days at Disney World and Universal Studios theme parks in Florida. The Moyers were on their way to the beach on Sunday when the accident happened. A vehicle drifted into the family's lane on the interstate near DeLand, and it caused them to veer off the road and hit a tree, according to WKMG Orlando.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that the accident took place on Sunday around 12:30 in the afternoon. Charles King, the other driver, was uninjured in the accident. It is not known yet as to why King drifted into the other lane.

Hailey and Sophia Moyers were airlifted to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, according to People. Greg and Sarah were raising three other children in addition to Hailey and Sophia.

"Their kids were their world," Loni Burnside Eaton stated. "They were very involved and supportive parents and just wanted the best for them. They wanted the girls to experience Disney and the beach."

One family friend named LeAnne Breakfield posted a picture of the family on Facebook with the caption: "I cannot believe your gone [.] this all seems unreal [.] your family will definitely be in my prayers Sarah Moyers [.] u and Greg was taken way too soon !!!"

No charges have been filed as of yet, and the troopers are still investigating the car crash.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Moyers family, and we are hoping for a full and speedy recovery for Hailey and Sophia.
