Game of Thrones fans and fan theorists have been waiting for a very specific character to make an appearance on the show, especially after the reveal of Jon Snow's mother in Season 6. Well, it seems that HBO may have cast rocker Devin Oliver in the highly anticipated role of Rhaegar Targaryen.

Oliver is the lead singer for the electronicore band, I See Stars. The rocker hinted, very slyly, that he had made an appearance in the seventh season of the HBO hit show on his Instagram. But, at the same time, he hints that maybe he hasn't?

"I may or may not have made an appearance in Game of Thrones season 7," he captioned a photo of himself with a bow and arrow in his hand.

Now, though that hint might not be concrete enough to say for certain that Oliver is definitely appearing in the show, fans will notice that he does resemble a certain Westeros family. The Targaryens are known for their white hair and light eyes, and Oliver certainly fits that description.

Oliver also has one other thing in common with the character Rhaegar. According to Daenerys Targaryen's advisor, Barristan Selmy, "Rhaegar never liked killing. He loved singing." So, the platinum blonde rock star is even more suited for the part.

Now, one of the many fan theories out there right now is that Rhaegar Targaryen is actually the father of Jon Snow. Given that the show just revealed that Jon Snow's mother, Lyana Stark, in Season 6, there is a chance that it will reveal who his father is in Season 7.

All of the signs are pointing to Oliver being cast as a young Rhaegar Targaryen, but given Game of Thrones history of keeping secrets from its fan base, it's likely we won't know until the official announcement is made – or until we see him on screen. The new season will arrive summer 2017.
