To satisfy your sweet tooth, try topping your favorite skinny desserts with our 4-Minute Microwave Caramel Sauce! You only need four minutes, four ingredients and a microwave for success with this recipe.

Recipe: 4-Minute Microwave Caramel Sauce
Prep time: Less than 5 minutes
Cook time: 4 minutes

Serving size: 1 tablespoon
Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup half & half
¼ teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
In a glass bowl or measuring cup, melt the butter in the microwave.
When melted, whisk in the sugar and half & half and microwave for 2 minutes.
Add the vanilla and whisk the caramel together again, then microwave for an additional 2 minutes.
Allow to cool, then transfer to a sealable glass jar to store it.
