For years, Psy's "Gangnam Style" has held the crown as the most-viewed video on YouTube, but suddenly, it is at the top no more.

That honor now belongs to Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's "See You Again," released in 2015 as part of the Furious 7 soundtrack, which has 2.897 billion views to "Gangnam Style"'s 2.894 billion.

After hearing the news, Puth tweeted that he had joined YouTube in 2007 hoping to receive 10,000 views on a video.

"Gangnam Style" was released in 2012 and instantly became a cultural touchstone, prompting people everywhere to do their best to learn the accompanying dance, with many hilariously failing along the way. The video quickly became the most-viewed on YouTube after its release, passing Justin Bieber's "Baby."

Currently sitting in third place is Bieber's "Sorry," and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' "Uptown Funk" holds the fourth most popular spot. In fifth place is the video for Luis Fonsi's "Despacito," which was released just this year in January.
